לאור המלחמה שפרצה ב-7 באוקטובר, מאות אלפי חיילים הוקפצו למילואים וחלקם, עקב חוסר באמצעי תחבורה אישיים, לא יכולים להגיע הביתה בשבת. חלק מאנשי המילואים אף נשארים בבסיס בשבת ובכך לא רואים את הבית ואת המשפחה למשך זמן רב.

שתהייה תחבורה ציבורית בהיקף רב לחיילים בשבת.
אחרי הכל, הם אלו ששומרים עלינו.
